INSTALLING MAC OS X IN WINDOWS XP


Reminder:- u need several tools for the processes:-
- WINRAR (extracting tool)
- NERO 7 burning tool

1) Open your web browser (better if you use safari 3) and go to google.

2) Type in "pear pc" and click search.

3) Click on the 1st link that comes up.

4) Go to the "Downloads" link on the left side of the website.
5) Click on the 3rd link down named "pearpc-0.4-win32-jitc.zip".

6) After downloaded PearPc, extract all of the files to a location on your hard drive.
Name the folder "PEARPC".

7) For your next download go to the link http://ppccp.sphosting.com/index.htm to
download the pearpc control panel.

8) Go to the download Binary at the end of the page (1.9MB).

9) Install the program.

10) Now go back to the PearPC homepage "http://pearpc.sourceforge.net/downloads.html"

11) Go to "Downloads" section again.

12) Scroll down and download the "6GB Image File".

13) Save that in ur hard drive.

14) Open the "PearPc Control" panel you downloaded earlier.

15) Click on the "New Configuration File" button.

16) Click "Continue" at the bottom.

17) Select the icon for your operating system. (dont worry it wont corrupt your os)

18) Click browse at the top.

19) Locate where you extracted your PearPc download earlier. Select the file named
"ppc" with the blue pear icon.

20) Locate 6GB image from PearPc earlier. Down at the bottom of the windows where it
says file types, switch it to all files, and select your 6GB image you downloaded.

21) Then down by the memory settings. Move the slider to the maximum.

22) Click continue

23) Dont click "next". Just minimize it.

24) Pop Mac OS X DVD in disk drive open Nero.

25) In Nero, select copy and backup.

26) Click copy DVD.

27) Select your Drive in the top window and in the bottom, select image recoreder.

28) Click copy DVD.

29) Save the image somewhere in your hard drive.

30) Open back the PearPc window u minimized earlier (23)

31) Choose 1024x768x32 in the video resolution.

32) Check the box that says full screen on startup.

33) Keep all the settings same

34) Click finish and name ur OS (Mac OS X Tiger).

35) Check the box that says CD-ROM device is installed. Then go to browse and locate
the image file you made of your Mac OS X DVD.

36) Go to file types, at bottom select "All Files". Find your image and double click
it.

37) Double click your configuration icon and a window will pop up and Mac OS X
installation will begin. Enjoy after the installation is completed.
